State of the Art... |
|
|
|
Today's competitive environment requires
precision controls in heat treating.
ARI-Jackson
Manufacturing
is equipped with two state of the art
Pacemaker integral quench furnaces. The
furnaces provide accurate heat rates,
carbon and time at temperature
uniformity controlled by its
microprocessor. The four U-tube heating
elements inside the furnace, two per
side, allow for maximized radiating area
and extend above, below and beyond the
workload. This design meets stringent
temperature uniformity required by MIL
specifications
A large 2,700 gallon capacity oil quench
tank with high volume, fully baffled oil
agitators assure a rapid, uniform quench
to optimize metallurgical properties.
The design permits the processing of
heavy, dense loads up to 3,000 pounds.
The four Lindberg companion draw
furnaces can be used for tempering after
quenching or for preheating, stress
relieving, annealing or drawing. The
furnaces are equipped with Honeywell
controllers to maintain temperature and
excess temperature cutoffs up to 1,400
degrees. |

Heat Treating at ARI-Jackson
Manufacturing... |
|
|
|
ARI-Jackson
Manufacturing
specializes in 'Neutralizing', a method
where the carbon content is unchanged.
If the steel has .5 carbon content, we
program to .5 carbon. Our heat treating
furnaces feature an internal 2,500
gallon hot oil quench which features
variable speed agitators capable of
producing 5,000 gallons per minute in
agitation. Our heat treating furnaces
are capable of handling up to 9,000
pounds of steel through the various
compartments which is 3-3,000 pound
loads. |
|
|
|
Control System... |
|
|
|
The heat treating furnaces are run
by state-of -the-art Honeywell
controllers which are programmed for
carbon levels, the time at temperature
and the quench times. |
